Freedom Mobile
Toronto-based telecommunications provider Freedom Mobile joined the Québecor family in April 2023. Following this acquisition, the Quebec-based company became Canada's fourth-largest national wireless provider.
Larger, faster and more affordable than ever, Freedom has redefined itself by focusing on an offer that combines fair prices, innovation and high-quality customer service. This approach has helped transform the Canadian wireless market and drive down prices in Canada. Freedom, whose services were previously available only in certain regions of Ontario, began rolling out its services in several other Canadian provinces in November 2023. Since May 2024, Freedom has also become a true multiservice player, offering wireline Internet and TV services, in addition to its historic mobile service.
