Another successful edition of the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie
Pride and emotion were in the air as the cyclists crossed the finish line under sunny skies after four days of working together and testing their limits to complete a 1,000 km route.
Four teams of Quebecor employees were among the cyclists who had pedaled hard on the byroads of Québec to promote a healthy lifestyle. Driven by their passion for cycling, our standard-bearers braved all manner of inclement weather from the Saguenay to Varennes to support the shared mission and values of Quebecor and the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie. Among them was Quebecor President and CEO Pierre Karl Péladeau, who was happy to pedal for the cause alongside his brother Jean B. Péladeau, Vice-President, Operational Convergence at Quebecor.
Mission accomplished for “1 M de KM Ensemble,” presented by Videotron
The goal is to get Québec moving by running, walking, swimming or any other physical activity that covers distance and to chalk up the most kilometres in the process. Together, the more than 66,300 participants covered a total of 1,035,197 km.
The Videotron team alone logged 3,127 km. Congratulations to all the employees who got up and got moving for the cause!
Please join us in congratulating and thanking our teams and employees for their participation in this 13th edition of the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie, of which Quebecor has been a proud partner in action since 2010!
