Quebecor Media announces that the sale of Sun Media Corporation’s 74 Québec weeklies to TC Media for $75 million, announced on December 5, 2013, has been closed. The closing follows Competition Bureau clearance of the transaction last week, accompanied by certain conditions to be fulfilled by the acquirer.
